The 136th Canton Fair concluded smoothly, once again demonstrating its significant role as a "weather vane" and "barometer" of China's foreign trade. The total exhibition area of the Canton Fair reached 1.55 million square meters, featuring 55 exhibition areas and 171 special sections. The total number of booths was as high as 74,000, attracting over 30,000 offline exhibitors, including approximately 29,400 export-oriented enterprises, an increase of nearly 800 compared to the previous session, and nearly 4,600 new exhibitors. The third phase centers on the themes of "advanced manufacturing", "quality home" and "better life", fully showcasing the charm and potential of made in China.

The most significant highlight of this Canton Fair is "new". New enterprises, new products, new technologies and new business forms have emerged abundantly. According to reports, there are nearly 4,600 new exhibitors. There are over 8,000 enterprises with titles such as national high-tech, specialized and new "little giant", and manufacturing industry single champion, an increase of more than 40% compared with the previous session. There are approximately 3,600 enterprises related to "new three kinds", digital technology and intelligent manufacturing, more than 14,000 enterprises with their own brands, and over 18,000 enterprises that have obtained various international certifications.

On display were 1.15 million new products, 1.04 million green products, and 1.11 million independent intellectual property products. All of these witnessed a significant increase compared to the previous session. Approximately 400 new product launch events were held, an increase of over 30% compared to the previous session. The Canton Fair also optimized the cross-border e-commerce display area and trade service area to offer full-chain trade services to exhibition merchants. Meanwhile, it will continue to set up import exhibitions in three exhibition periods, with an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, attracting 730 enterprises from 49 countries and regions.

Amid the backdrop of a weak global economic recovery, China's foreign trade still maintains a robust momentum. In the first three quarters, the total value of China's import and export reached a record high, surpassing the 32 trillion yuan mark, with each quarter exceeding 10 trillion yuan. Among them, the export of mechanical and electrical products stood at 11.03 trillion yuan, increasing by 8% and accounting for 59.3% of the total export value. The export of high-end equipment rose by 43.4%, while the export of integrated circuits, automobiles, and household appliances increased by 22%, 22.5%, and 15.5% respectively. These remarkable data strongly prove the strength of this Canton Fair "new".
